Gooey Strawberry Bliss Balls
If you're looking for an on-the-go snack to have handy in the fridge, look no further, you've found the best. Gooey Strawberry Bliss Balls melt in your mouth and leave you oozing with strawberry goodness! These bliss balls are insanely easy to make in under 5 minutes.
Strawberries: You can use fresh or frozen; I often have frozen in the freezer from smoothies. Dried strawberries would also work and can be an alternative if you want a less gooey result. You can also sub in blueberries, especially if you have leftover wild blueberries from making Wild Blueberry Pie Filling. They will make the prettiest deep purple color! Be mindful as wild blueberries stain, so be careful when making them.
Maple Syrup: Added for the sweet taste but can be left out entirely as the strawberries bring sweetness all on their own.
Cashews: Sunflower seeds, almonds, or macadamia nuts will work just the same. I choose cashews because of their creamy and mild flavor when blended.
Fast, Easy, and Healthy
With limited ingredients, many of which probably are already in your kitchen, these easily assembled snacks are perfect to have on hand. They last for three days in the refrigerator or one month frozen if they even make it that long!
All ingredients are whole foods making these balls healthy in my book. Dates are great as an adrenal snack, and when paired with fruit like strawberries, they help provide sustainable energy. Cashews provide protein and have tons of benefits; they're high in oleic acid, a heart-healthy monounsaturated fat that is great for your cardiovascular system. I love when foods not only taste good but make you feel good too, and this recipe hits a home run in that department.
I hope you find making these as easy as I do and love the result. With prep time being 5 minutes making these a staple snack and exploring different flavors in your kitchen is hopefully doable!
